Sherry started her career in local government and moved into the private sector after she obtained her Master's degree in Information Assurance/Cybersecurity. She has been in the security space for almost a decade.

As the president of WiCyS of Colorado, she is focusing on providing educational and networking events to support the community of women in security. Her vision for WiCyS Colorado is to be the central hub of all things cybersecurity.

Erika Jones is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with 17 years of technology solution sales experience, currently serving as a Partner Manager at Splunk. Specializing in cloud, containers, ITSM, Agile, DevOps, data/analytics, and other transformative technologies, I empower organizations to turn data into actionable insights. Beyond my role at Splunk, I actively contribute to the local Denver cybersecurity community as the Program Director at Cloud Security Alliance - Colorado, Co-founder of LIFT, and Vice President of WiCys Colorado, championing initiatives that foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and diversity in the industry. My commitment to driving positive change is reflected in my multifaceted leadership roles, combining industry expertise, community engagement, and a passion for leveraging technology for business transformation.

She is actively involved in the security community and looks forward to working with part of the Wicys Colorado team.

In her space time she loves to cook, knit, read and snowboard.

Danielle's career is a rich tapestry of experiences across various industries, including technology, healthcare, education, and retail. Her career is underpinned by a blend of technical and business acumen, relationship-building expertise, and a relentless pursuit of knowledge. A concern for how family medical devices and general technology were being protected, created a desire to learn new skills to protect our digital world. She achieved her M.S. in Information Systems Security in August 2023. Danielle is a trusted advisor able to work with cross-functional teams and external parties to align security functions and foster accountability to support risk management and governance programs. 

In her spare time, she enjoys photography, knitting, a good book, and cooking.

Gaëlle is a highly experienced cybersecurity professional in Denver and a board member of ISACA. She holds several professional certifications and has a proven track record in developing risk-based audit programs and providing cybersecurity training to organizations across various sectors. Passionate about promoting women's participating in cybersecurity, Gaelle advocates for opportunities for women in tech globally.

Originally from Burkina Faso, she lived in the USA for 15 years, bringing a diverse cultural perspective to her work. Outside of her career, she is a devoted mother who enjoys spending time with her son.

Marcella has enjoyed the opportunities for connection with other women in the cybersecurity community WiCyS has offered her. She is enthusiastic about cybersecurity as a field and has gained a lot from mentorship and being a mentor, especially from and for other women.

Her sundry extracurricular interests include Toastmasters, the Denver Choir League, volunteering with Junior League of Denver and Advocates for Children CASA, dog sports, baking, learning about Cold War and espionage history, listening to pop culture podcasts, and reading.

Teressa Gehrke is the Founder/CEO of PopCykol, a cyber security awareness company for kids

She has worked in the field of cyber since 2014 as a technical writer and user experience consultant. She consults for various industries, including government, telecommunications, biotechnology, healthcare, space, and financial institutions.

Teressa is an award-winning children’s music singer-songwriter. She enjoys stand-up paddleboarding and lacrosse and is a 1st-degree black belt in taekwondo.
